Moderators can see the moderation dashboard on the page listing categories or on the page listing threads.
Note that the title Moderation management is a link redirecting to the moderation interface.
Alerts are messages sent to moderators by users who have clicked on the link “Alert the moderators”
A forum user believing that a message does not comply with the forum rules sends a message to moderators. Moderators will automatically be alerted via the dashboard.
The note ¼ means that there are four alerts but only one remains to be reviewed
Click on the red text to work on this alert
You can analyze information concerning this alert:
The red box means that the alert has not been reviewed.
The alert sender. The date and hour of creation.
The reason given by the members for their alert.
The subject body and title.
To quickly access the subject content, simply click on the title (in the box topic name/content).
Note that if the reason given by the user to report a message or a member is too long, the text will be truncated but you can get a full view by placing mouse over it.
If you click on the red box, it becomes orange; it means that you are going to review the alert.
The box that was previously empty now displays « assigned to » followed by your pseudo as well as the time that you have started to review this alert. The last box displays a drop down menu with a list of possible actions that should be taken for this alert
You can also click on the link « show assigned alerts”
This will link you to a page listing all the alerts that have already been reviewed as well as their respective information
When you enter a category, you can observe that the middle column of the dashboard above the thread list displays the number of messages waiting to be checked.
Those are messages that have not yet been checked by any forum managers (moderator or administrator). Depending on the category moderation type, you will be redirected either to the quick or a priori moderation page..
With the last option of the dashboard you can enter a member’s pseudo in order to quickly get related information
The third column titled M allows you to identify members who have posted with the same IP address
