5.9  Banning Smileys

The sanctioned person will not be able to send smileys. Emoticons will be automatically removed from messages posted during this period.

This process is not retroactive. Smileys posted in previous messages will still be shown. However, once the sanction is disabled, smileys posted in sanctioned messages will not show up.
