The MyDiscussions.net forum software includes a very large number of features that both simplify user-to-user communications, and provide administrators with a powerful, customizable tool.

Quick and simple moderation
Moderation bar for each message
For each message you will find a moderation bar that indicates: the IP address of the message author as well as related information (Internet Service Provider, geographical details), the list of users who previously used the same IP address, the associated nicknames (if the member uses several nicknames on the forum), and a link to the moderation control panel.
The quick moderation
With a single click, the quick moderation feature enables you to see all messages that have not yet been approved by a moderator. The validation process is common to all moderators. From there, the moderator can chose to delete a message (and give a reason) or to validate it.
The moderation box
Moderators have a special control panel displayed on all pages generated by the forum. From there, you can access the moderation tools for a particular user, you can see the number of messages waiting to be validated for the the quick or priori moderation mode. You can also get to the alert management interface. Besides, you will see new tabs: the trash, the quick moderation, the a priori moderation - if this feature is enables on the category.

The moderation interface displays all possible actions that you can process for a member (delete a message, sanctions) as well as information concerning this member: subscription date, multiple pseudonyms, date of the last posted message, number of posted messages, current sanctions, link to the sanction history etc...
The Sanctions
Several types of sanctions can be applied for the category that you manage (or for the entire forum if you are the administrator): forbid a user to participate, forbid a user to see topics content (you can also delete all messages posted by this user on the forum), forbid a user to display the signature on the forum, forbid a user to use personal smileys or to upload any images on the forum. An administrator can also ban all the multiple nicknames associated with a user or to restrict the access to the image directory.
The Trash
In order to prevent any moderation mistakes, all deleted messages are backed up on the forum and can be restored at any time. This feature also works for messages deleted by moderators. Only an administrator can permanently purge deleted messages in the trash.
